9:17 pm-In the bedroom, more tracking. I’m going to the Midiverb as a straight effects send…Piano melody. The day: Erika took the kids to school-I cleaned a bit and did wash. Work-splash screens, Flash. Archived my Mirage disks-the MASOS one is toast. Home, kids to bed. Criminal minds, wash, cheese for dinner. This is a difficult track-I’ve run through it twice and I’m feeling fatigued. I’m going to let the tape roll and see what happens. And it didn’t record the effects return-blecch. Onward.
11:27-Time for bed-finished the melody track-it sounds good. Sorta Blade Runner-y Harold Budd-y. I have one more track to do-still don’t know what-maybe a fast guitar bit. I really need to get my SG and the DD-12 from storage. I’m planning to drop some ambient bits in on the computer with Audacity before putting it on the movie.
