At an in-line skate race, watching the girls go. It’s a tricky course. Race in the men’s. We all go onstage for the awards, I stand with my friends. Someone passes out T-shirts for a team race with everyone. I have to drive home, so I might not race.
At home, cleaning and getting ready for a party. There are gnats everywhere. I try to shoo them out the door and get most. Go back in and the tree is up. There are some yellowjackets in the house and I warn everyone and close the door. One comes in under the window and gets covered in candy. I’m able to get it out.
