Eclipse ahead

Because the TeeVee tells me so. We’re going down to my boss’ place to watch it. E isn’t going. Hopefully the drive back won’t be a nightmare.

I found a quote I’ve been looking for: “While assholes everywhere fight over mosques and homosexuals, issues about which history has already formed its opinions, ice is melting.” George Lazenby

Been watching the Olympic channel a lot-it’s the world track and field championships right now. In London, with Brit commentators. Nice.

Finishing up getting the old place cleared out. A little leftover stuff, cleaning supplies and S’s bed. Everything except the “dining room” is vacuumed. The new place is still full of boxes-maybe Sunday? Finally got my iPhone loaded up with books-now for a spot of music. And it’s Monday-the old place is cleaned out, did a lot Sun. to get things livable. Got an old Zune for $1. I may not go down south for the eclipse…too many people and traffic forecasted. Tried to get my DVR cleaned up-lots of Tour stages, American commentators bite-was watching the track & field and the Brits are way better…
