Fall is here!

We’ve been seeing signs for awhile, and it’s chilly on the way to work. It was a bit rainy last week too.

Quiet week-no gamelan yet, worked hard on the startup stuff and everyone liked it. Got picked up Tue., went to a coffee place near here and bought stuff. Need to build a dragon kite for Michaelmas. E ordered one instead. Cleaned a little Sat., went downtown to look at phones, walked around, shop. Church Sun.-an old lady fell, market, gas, shop, cut my hair. Didn’t get much cleaning done-folded laundry though-the house is sort of clean…

A super smelly guy on the train this morning (Mon.). Missed the bus going home, both of them, AND the smelly guy was on the train going home-I walked to the other end of the train… Quiet Tues., E got a new vacuum, C got new glasses, I got a new Trimet transit app. Work is going fine-we’re not even to the starting line on the work, but I’m doing useful stuff and learning the app anyways-I get along with everyone too, which is nice.

I’m tired of the pres. campaign-it’s all so toxic. I’ve made a conscious decision only to read electoral-vote.com, and social media doesn’t show me much except for addicting into, truthdig, tom tomorrow and democracy now-mostly lib stuff-and I don’t pay attention to much else.

Weds.-work, gamelan. Did drumming on one, bonang on another-I was hopeless, because I don’t know the patterns, so I decided to sing instead. I have the drum pattern, so I’m working on memorizing it. I want to get the suling licks too. Watched jack bauer become president. It was chilly this morning-first day of Fall and all that. Quiet Thurs., E wasn’t feeling well, practicing the drumming patterns-Ompak down, Ngelik and intro in process, finish to go.

Pretty quiet weekend-E was away at a church thing, and no car. Up late Fri., cleaned, watched Deadpool Sat., more cleaning Sun., practiced drumming a little, E returned, to bed, woke up to the alarm today-very sleepy still. Lots of construction by ConWay, so late in.

Debate is today-don’t care.
