I’ll let you decide. This one’s been about a year.
It’s been rather busy, with some changes. Erika’s mom died in the spring, we moved our office to Beaverton in August and I’m taking the train 3 days a week. I’ve lost some weight, am walking to and from the train, and standing at work and exercising there too. The office has a lot of food in the kitchen, so I don’t make breakfast or lunch at home-too bad, I liked the rice & oatmeal. There’s also an espresso machine, so lattes every morning. I also got a bread machine which I use a lot-I’ve made pizza dough and pretzels in addition to bread like 3 times a week.
The kids are great-Mathias is reading with a Kindle, Colin is a Minecraft wizard and Salem is a cutie and growing fast. Erika is struggling, but not going backwards.
Still working through Steiner, there’s been some progress, but I’m not sure I have a good program-I have a nice solid foundation and some insights that might be useful. I have a cheap tablet and read and play backgammon and go on the train. I wiped my iPod, so there’s that. Work is work, same job. Gamelan is hectic-concert early November, new pieces, and a few that we’ll learn the week of the concert. Daunting.
Money is short, but that’s nothing new. Church is church-I’m ushering once a month and sitting on a new website. I’d like to fix the sound system.
Politics is as it’s been-I’m tired of commenting on it. I don’t use Twitter or Facebook much anymore.
That’s about it-I don’t know if I’ll keep this up or not. We’ll see.
