I was in the shower and I started thinking about what I’m thankful for. Typical around Thanksgiving, right? Not for me…
So, my list is pretty simple. A job, four walls and a roof, food, clothes, a good family. That’s about it. I mean, that’s not all, but when there are many, many people who don’t even have that, you’ve got to be grateful for the basics.
Here’s the list since last time-M to b’ball, wait for non-starter meeting, back. Lazy, church, Erika cleaning, skating with the kids. Work Monday, parent meetings Tuesday, 1/2 day Weds-look for glasses for Colin. Sleep in today, then thanksgiving at a church friends’.
I’m remoting into my old laptop, which is nice because this work one doesn’t let me write to external devices. Almost done repopulating my iPod. Not much else.
Someone did a cool thing with mapping population density to lightness on the electoral map. As you would guess by the cartogram, the majority of the red on the map is very light, and the blue is mostly dark blue. One interesting artifact is that a lot of cities are blue cores ringed with red.
