I’ve been entering my essays and miscellaneous writings into my writings blog. This is prompting me to think how I can do things here as well-should I pick a topic for each post? Would anyone read it? Should I move all of my web stuff off of a “personal” site? I’ll get more eyeballs that way…Like it matters.
Don’t know.
OK, so here’s the infamous recap to jog my memory when I’m 80. My dad is that side of 80, and his memory is going. Gamelan practice with the choir. Went well. S went to another birthday party Sat., we went shopping and to the library afterwards. Erika’s working on an auction thing. Church Sun-home, cleaning-didn’t get much done, but did get bedclothes washed. The Saturn got stolen Mon., I was very upset. I talked to the insurance guy yesterday & we can get a rental car. Maybe Friday. I have things I need to do. I should make a list.
More stuff-good shows with the choir, but a lot of work. Didn’t get the car back and the insurance covered it. M didn’t get into PWHS. Meeting with North Clackamas to get M assessed. His project went well. He read all of Roots. Caught a cold last week-now everyone has it. Went through my stuff-trimmed a little bit-not much to trim after 2 moves with major trimming. There are some things I wish I hadn’t given away. Working hard to keep the house tidy. Spring is here.
And now it’s a month later, and no post. Usual stuff-Erika has tummy troubles, May Faire-C did the maypole thing, spring break, we got a new dryer, spent a bunch of $$$ fixing the car, conflicts, S has lost some teeth, have I said that one of our cats died? We found my car in the next complex, but the insurance already went through. M’s going to Clackamas Middle College, and he’s going to get special ed-he shouldn’t need much, but it’s nice to have. I’ve been working on the train both ways-I get more done that way. More conflicts. Sometimes it’s like nothing is right, so what’s the point in trying? Setup for play. S is riding her bike w/o training wheels. Trimmed my books down to 1 box-going to try again with my storage bin. C had a sleepover for his birthday. Mother’s day. More conflict and dread. Drive to ballet, visit Powell’s. Church & work party Sunday-M’s last OWL session. We subscribed to Hulu and they have Time Tunnel! One of my faves from my childhood. Archer is a new guilty pleasure, even though it’s been going for 5 years… WFH Friday, hang out with wife. Church, binge-watch Archer. More Dr’s for E.
Last days of school-assembly, first grade crossing, meeting. Gamelan show, new computer, 8th grade farewell party, father’s day. We’re trying to get C to sleep in his room and S to sleep on the floor.
Finished the biodynamics book-really very good. Back onto John. I think I might make an infographic of the cosmology. Reading a few other books too.
