On a walkway/landing, there’s a big event. Look at all the different things going on on my tablet. Metallica is playing, then Anthrax and Slayer, all at the same time. I’m getting excited. Some band is in front of me and they start in. One guy plays a simple riff (ZZ Top?) and asks if anyone in the audience can play it. Some guy gets up and does it, but sort of stiff. I comment on it. The guy on stage asks for anyone else and no one wants to-he asks for a vote, and I call out that I’ll do it, just to make it a choice. I go up to the stage, they hand me a white Les Paul, I ask for a pick and do the riff without going to the amp.
