@30700, a couple comes in via the sliding glass door. They’re from Chicago and have jewelry. We sit at the dining room table and he makes out the paperwork and certificate. I see that it’s $3,800, which is way more than I had told him I could afford. I explain the situation, and say it’s either this or the mortgage and food. They’re not happy and leave.
