Please tip the writer. Whatever amount you like-every little bit helps, and I’ll do a shoutout. We are always short of cash, especially with a big mortgage. Let me know if you or someone you know needs web design/development-my rates aren’t bad, and I’m more than pretty good at it. Java/database/AWS/UI too. ThankYouVeryMuch!
Left this one to marinate for a bit. My not so exciting life, plus busy work, means not really getting to a quick tempo. Anyways, the world is moving along much as it does. Ukraine, inflation, political insanity. At least the new Supreme Court justice is good… Not quite sure where everything else is going, but it’s Easter, so I know one thing-I’m going to go to church on Sunday. One year I did the whole Saturday night mass thing-quite an experience.
Sunday morning (2/13) Sitting on the couch drinking coffee. Salem is at a friends’, Matt is still sleeping. Spent yesterday not doing much-drove Erika to Christina’s, Salem to her friends’, picked up candy for Valentines’, went to Mike’s with Matt for dinner. Watched curling. Workouts at the usual time, work, that’s pretty much it.
Thursday evening, waiting for dinner to be ready. Things are much the same. Erika has diverticulitis-went to the Dr’s Tuesday…and today. Workouts are good, not really wanting to do a few things for work. Watching Olympics-only women’s curling, women’s skiing, short track. Shiffrin had a bad event, usa curling women too.
Sunday evening, watching team ski racing. Off tomorrow. Took Salem to a derby match last night. Workout Friday, the usual otherwise.
Wednesday morning-time for coffee. We’re so broke this week… Anyways, lazy Monday, workout, work, not much else.
Friday evening, tired, want to go to bed. Got stuff done today, workout, Mod Pizza, shop. Not much else, want to start writing.
Tuesday (3/15), been ignoring this. Didn’t start writing-yeah, still want to… Not much going on, Erika spent a night in the hospital last week-the diverticulitis. Matt is done with finals. Took Salem to a scrimmage last week.
Weds. morning. The upstairs neighbors have kids and they run around the place-the thumping drives me batty, so I cranked up Rage and Melvins yesterday. Weds. afternoon. Pretty quiet, except for the elephants upstairs. I wish I still had my Bose 901’s-they were LOUD. I used to regularly have the cops called on me when I cranked them. That would show them what’s what.
Sunday evening (4/3). Been slacking on this-can you tell? Probably not. Not much happening, so not much to write about. Colin is moving back in with us at the end of May. Wants to go to school, so saving money is a thing. VS offered him full time, and they have tuition assistance. Been running outside for 2 weeks-getting almost 4 miles in, at 11 minute miles. Getting to the end of the big work project. Erika and Salem are going up to Seattle next week. Other than that, not much has happened. Tossed a couple of things, moved my book pile under the bed, moved all my stuff in tighter.
Wednesday evening (4/6). Super sore and fatigued-ran almost 4 miles, it was windy, and a full workout. Not much else-getting through the production deployment. Got a cool sufi book. Went through the closet-tossed some more, went through the rolling bin, tossed a few things. I think I have enough room in there for my misc stuff. The only stuff I don’t have storage for is my clothes-I’m thinking another rolling bin. I also need to get rid of my unused music stuff.
Another Wednesday, another week gone. Production deploy is almost done-waiting on the last set of credentials and the last deploy/test. It snowed Monday, been hailing on and off too. Erika and Salem are in Seattle-took the train yesterday, returning tomorrow. A thing. Making sweet and sour pork tonight. Matt hasn’t been feeling well. Put Colin’s bed together. The usual other than that.
Friday morning, working, drinking coffee. Went to church last night, helped put stuff up for Easter. The sweet and sour pork on Weds. was excellent-such a great recipe. Good workout too-shortened the run to give myself a little extra energy. Erika and Salem had a great time in Seattle, but were very tired last night. It’s been sunny, then hailing, rainy, then sunny, plus the snow on Monday Psycho weather, but typical for this time of year. When we first moved up here, that was one of the things-the truck with all our stuff arrived, the guy unloaded it, and it hailed buckets.
