10:49 am-I have to jump this in before things get started-a quick recap. Friday-late in-missed a meeting-kids came for lunch. Started scanning with the new printer-big scan jobs don’t work. Tried to get OCR going with Tesseract-didn’t work well. Tried to get fax going as well and failed at that too. Saturday-lazy, played a bit outside. Polly’s for dinner, picked up Akeelah and the Bee and Nanny McPhee-watched Akeelah. Sunday, church, Manhattan deli for lunch, Colin has lice-we washed stuff all day, watched Nanny McPhee. Colin stays home today and is visiting while Erika goes to the doctors’.
5:01 pm-Another suitable time to diarize-just prior to departing for home-the 3 times to diarize: just to starting work, just prior to departing for home, just prior to sleeping-pretty much the only times where I have a few minutes to type without other obligations. So, a pretty quiet workday-finishing up alternate selection mechanisms for the Big Project, Colin visited, we had lunch. An interesting email about why churches grow-youth, exciting worship, lack of conflict, geography. UU’s were placed in liberal Protestant, so I fired off an email to the survey folks saying that this was incorrect. Saying that I’m a liberal Protestant is beyond ridiculous and a bit insulting. Time to gather my files, put them on the storage unit and go home.
