At a studio, I’m going to be a new guitarist in King Crimson. Walk around looking at things and figuring out where to set up. Want to record the new material from the board, but there’s no easy way. Talk about getting something pfl, and there’s a box hooked up to it. It’s up high, and I try to plug into it. Turn it on, and a small speaker squeals. Get on a chair and fiddle with it. Get my plug in, and get good levels from Lili DLM at the board. Go back, and the guys set my guitar down next to another one. It’s badly packed, and knocks the other guitar over. I rush over, apologize. Go through my bag. Pull out what looks like an old Octavia. Comment on it as the decoy. It’s really some cheap interface for a guitar teaching program.
