Onward? The only way to go?

There is no going back, no matter how much you wish it. And sometimes I wish it. Other times just wishes. Don’t know what else to say-life and the world are what they are, and you have to be what you are, and work.

So, so smoky-can just barely see the St. John’s bridge from here: 9th floor of Montgomery Park. And ash everywhere. And there’s another big storm making its way across the Atlantic. Picked up a shakuhachi and Zoom recorder for $12, with a big credit from Google…pretty cool, though it took 2 years to get up to $200. Next is a case for my Kronos. Don’t need it quite yet. Weekend. Set up all the gear, books too. C’s gf came over, repacked the outside closet-mouse poop there. Big storm over Fla. Church, shop, tidy. Very tired today. Got the Zoom and the shakuhachi-nice 1.3, root end-was able to get a bitty tone after a bit of work, the Zoom works, but is a bit light-I prefer durable bits, like a SM58… S wants to play the Kronos-I let her from time to time-she really shouldn’t be playing keyboards… And now Friday-Dr’s, got a cortisone shot for my finger. It’s getting cooler in the mornings, but still a bit smoky.
