The week flew by, and then.

Another rainy day. Fall is definitely here, right on time.

A thing for work. Meetings. (3:42) More work stuff. Didn’t get the first thing done.

11:07-trying to get a thing done. Work in the way home, dinner, gamelan. Boys are watching South park.

12:29-Got the thing done, but a hassle. Watching Predator 2-fun, I guess-seen it so many times. Time for bed. No last thing, though I need it-been thinking about it all day. Correction, yeah, did it anyways…

and it’s 8 on Thursday-very busy at work, so no time. Meetings, stuff to do.
and now it’s Friday-the week just spun out of control. Got some things done, and we get to leave early! Woo-hoo!
Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon. Good coffee, the kitchen is staying clean. Need to fold laundry and put it away. We were going to a friends’, but that got pushed back. Maybe down to Powell’s…on Hawthorne and the libe and shoppes on Hawthorne.

Well, I got to bed a little earlier last night, but I’m still tired. I wonder if I’m coming down with something? I lost a sliver of a metal crown a few days ago too.

OK, so lots of traffic coming in, and the train was having problems before it got to me. More stuff to worry about at work as well.

9:37-Easy home, dinner, dishes and laundry. Sprinkling a bit. S to bed. Agents of Shield. Looking forward to Person of Interest.

Walking around the house. RonD is there, looking at the bad wiring. He says he has to report it to the crown.
In the bathroom. Trying to clear out the spider webs and the spiders run away. One chases another, which jumps on me. I try to get it off.

And now Monday. Up late last night making M’s new mp3 player have stuff on it. Woke up very tired. Traffic, missed train. Meeting, work, stuff. Still super tired.

Another workweek in the books, almost.

It’s Friday. Hard to get to sleep last night, and the kitten and S visited this morning. No traffic on the way in-made the train I usually miss. Work was…work. Got stuff done, but I’m feeling very fatigued. Meeting, trying to get stuff wrapped up..

8:08-Hanging out after dinner, got some stuff done. Easy ride home, got a ride to the train from a co-worker. Did a little bit more work-I want to get more done this sprint. E took a nap, but dinner was done. Made rice, ate at the table. S to bed, she has a tummyache. Spotty network connectivity.

Almost fall is here.

Fall is definitely here-rainy this morning, and cool all day.

S got into our bed, hard to sleep. Not feeling 100%. Late to work-mucho traffic. Got stuff done, but interrupted a lot. A meeting.

Easy home, dinner at the table, help C with flute. S to bed, hanging out.

bleh. unwell. just bleh.

Not feeling well today, so I stayed home. E went to the dentist’s for fillings. Parent meeting tonight, so no gamelan.

E came home, laid on the couch, and watched a Wonder Woman/feminist thing. Not much else going on.
5:25-Kids are home, took a nap. 6:52-Dinner, E made sauce, clean kitchen. 11:14-S to bed with stories, diddle around, C has recorder tomorrow. Time for bed.

now is Now and new

The next follows from the last one. Now is forever Now, but it has a name.

2 dreams, but I don’t remember either now. I need to write them down when I wake up, and post them in the dream blog. Also type in the old ones and mass post them.

S got up with the kitten climbing all over her. I tried to get him to stay with me, but it didn’t work and we both got up. She’s a pretty good help in the morning. E got up, and I had to leave. Easy ride in. Talking on FB about Fox News and polarization-injecting a historical and progressive viewpoint. Time for coffee. C stayed home sick.

1:08-Quick meeting done, more to come next week and stuff to do right now, and a rework on one.
3:47-Time to go home-lunch and some things done.

Monday, again, Tuesday.

Monday, again. Didn’t get to this at all.

Hard to get up, easy to work, but late-traffic on the 99 determines when I arrive downtown. Meetings, a bunch of thrashing with building, fixed one thing, started on another. Missed the Limited, even though I was running and waving.

Home, dinner, S to bed, back out, then bed. Not much else for a Monday-we got more $$$ returning an unneeded flute, so we’re breathing a little easier.

Going to play, arranging the instruments. Nancy P comes by and she needs a fourth for doubles. I volunteer and go to get shoes. They’re in the river, and I try to get them.
At a party, in love with a woman. I see her picture and wait for her to come back. She’s a dancer, and I met her at a show a long time ago. She recognized me from back then. We’re waiting for Mathias to come home, and I go outside to look for him.

Visits are nice.

Quiet morning-S got up early, so I had to too. That and I rarely get back to sleep. House is pretty clean, so there’s not much to do-bathroom, sweep and vacuum. M’s old teacher is coming over for dinner.

2:38-Bathroom, sweep and vacuum are done. E is making an altar. Need to put some stuff in the outside closet, also sweep the porch. Done and done.

Sunday, 7:36-N came over, plus M’s classmate A. Nice dinner and visit. I had a jalapeno juice from the bank, and it was HOT. Tired, went to bed early.
Up, church, conflict, I walked out. Walked around, sat, back in the balcony. Started up again after, I walked out again. Talk, sold the mando, library. Dinner. S to bed, E is watching Beauty and the Beast-blecch-romantic trash.

Going to go down a steep run, but it avalanches. Go back up the tram, it’s really long. Leave my coat at the slope, but get the poles. Watch kids go the long way, hoping no one gets the first run.
On a train, a plane passes close and crashes. Everyone says that they’re here.

friday, home.

Friday, half day, working from home. Kids to school, picked up E from CMC. Quiet, working, meeting. E went to get the kids, tidied up, next is dishes and folding. Woo-hoo!

6:39-dishes are loaded, cooked burgers for dinner. E got food from the bank. Clean up, then fold. Need to finish up one work thing. Done-closed stuff & checked it in. Folded laundry, put S to bed-she has an achy tummy. Back out, more laundry, put dishes away.

No aurora yet.

Windy! No kites.

It’s very windy. Wish I had my kite bag with me. Not like the old days where I was working at home and could bike down to Belmont Shore and fly the afternoon away.

Anyways, listened in on a meeting, talked more about changes, got coffee, talked to the office manager, fixed a thing. I get to work a half-day from home tomorrow. Nice, that.

And now, more money stuff. <sigh> Plus just a ton of distractions.

7:01-and now home. M had to come home sick. S is going to bed early, and E is at a school thing. C is holed up in his room. No lunch for me.

9:16-S is asleep. Quiet. Dinner, computing. 12:00-bed, but first…

New, but same old at the same time.

Looks like the easiest way to pull off high frequency posts is to open the edit and leave it up all the time…

Yet again, financial obligations dominate my thoughts. I wish this was easily solved.

OK-so the kitten came into bed with me, and was chasing me around when I woke up. A money discussion. Easy to work, but I missed my normal train. My laptop crashed. A panic alleviated. Espresso is back. Finishing up the current enhancement. Looks like more mess coming my way…and it was not my mess, though I did miss something. Back home, then off to gamelan with a stop to make a payment. Played bonang, then home early. Dinner, now bed.

2 posts in a row?

Is it possible that I might get back to daily posts? I’ve never been able to keep it going for long, but this may be it. It makes the summary easier, and also makes it more immediate about my emotional state. Actually not sure if this is a good thing…

11:03-Looks like another average work day ahead. The kitten slept right next to me last night. I woke up and started to roll over, and there he was! He started to play with my feet, and finally scooted off under the bed. I’m glad we coslept all the kids, because I could’ve squashed the little guy.
Made it in under the wire for the 9am meeting-traffic on the 99-the vagaries of taking the bus downtown. Got a quick thing done and deployed. The espresso machine is broken, so regular coffee. I got rewarded for working hard with Friday 1/2 day at home. Woo-hoo!

Fall is definitely here, though Summer is still around. Starting towards the time to begin the inner journey again. The tex thing is interesting. Didn’t seem like the canonical tex that people describe. I mean, a large crowd and someone saying “You’re the first”??? Odd. Maybe it wasn’t tex-I was real sloppy and there were substances involved. Time will bring fullness.

6:31-Home. Having to do a bit of extra work because of a fundamental flaw in the lookup process. Almost done. Easy ride home-made the limited and there was a bus to take me to the regular stop. Kids are OK-S is getting a cold, C has a new adventure-ish game to play and is working on a drawing of the Globe theatre, and M has a new scooter. Tacos for dinner, S doesn’t want to sleep, rush to try to fix something that was OK. Time for bed. But first…

Sitting with j starkoff and some other ohs girl, talking about sex, maybe. Leave to go pee, walk outside and they’re messing with the frozen river. Walking out, back, jumping on the edge to get it moving. I push down and it breaks. The ice starts flowing, the a gigantic flood comes, almost to where we are. I move back, and a bigger one comes. I move all the way up and someone gets my stuff.

A frequency shift

I’m going to try to up my frequency. We’ll see. Sunday was church, water communion. Got a big school box from friends, home, nap, busted for inactivity. Dinner, fail to put S down. E almost crashed and she’s sore-went to get painkillers.
Saturday night-late getting tunes for C, M to friends’, get cello for C & look for scooter. Cleaned out all the boys’ clothes and a little in their closet. E went to a friends’.
Today: hard to get up, but I did and got everything done. I actually made it to the train on time, with a sprint. Work-meetings, then a panic that was OK, finally finishing one thing. Doing a demo on Friday.A quiet end to the day-S is getting a cold.

I’m thinking about giving up on church-the education seems to be failing. There’s an unspoken assumption that Christianity is bad, which is contrary to the explicit acceptance of all beliefs. I figure it’s because of reaction formation against the damage caused by bad Christian upbringings. In any case, it’s poisoning, but the other way.

In other news, there’s no other news. We’re again tight on cash. The kitten is adorable, and a Manx.

Hiding from stormtroopers. Go under a table and look at the door. More people come in. A woman asks about stuff for her face. I rummage through an Ikea bag and find some. One of the staff says I’m stealing and I say it’s from another worker. She says he just sits there.
Someone tries to arrange gift boxes and they fall down. He tries again and gets some help. I go and rearrange them so they’re elegant.
