11:58 am-At work, new cr coming down the line. Similar to one I did awhile back. OK. To recap: Friday-home, blackberries-we have massive amounts of yummy ripe blackberries. Gave some to our neighbors. Dinner, bed. Up Sat, hang out, make pancakes with Mathias. Go to a school family moving in and help unload their truck. Chat afterwards. Home, blackberries, dinner, TV, bed. Up Sun, church, shop, home, mow lawn, yardwork. Blackberries, dinner, kids to bed, tidy, water far yard-I finally realized I don’t need a coupler-duh. TV, bed. We’re not watching the Olympics in protest of China’s abysmal human rights record. Not like ours is any better anymore. Up today, shower, to work. We are out of $$$-send good $ juju our way, or tip us on Paypal. Thanks in advance.

4:38 pm-Waiting for a slow query, and it’s Friday. I want to go home and sleep. Yesterday-got *$, got the barcodes working. Mail, home, blackberries, bed, dinner. Up late diddling around on the .net. Up today, to work, tested barcodes, started on the query for the same guy. Lunch, and here I sit.

2:07 pm-Busy working on barcodes. Tuesday-home, Spiderwick Chronicles, kids to bed, dinner, bed. Yesterday-up, phone meeting, more CR’s, status meeting, home, kids’ volcano, dinner, blackberries, bed. Up today, shower, update us8025, talk about the CR, we got a break on tuition. Yay!

4:12 pm-I’m getting a headache-going to go to *$. Barcode thing is done-need to unit test some more. Reconnecting-lendie Lee and Diana Harris, as well as the folks from US and the O.C. (who’s next?). Yummy lunch-leftover lasagna and blackberries.

10:04 am-Starting my day-tired. Yesterday-work, lunch, more work-had to redo one thing, go the full on another. Home, hang out, pick blackberries, go down to the creek with Matt and pick blackberries, water, kids to bed, Erika’s airbed has a leak, yummy lasagna for dinner, TV, computing, bed. Up today, take out the trash, water-it’s going to be hot today, so I wanted to water early. Need to do the other side of the yard tonight.

4:16 pm-Finishing up the stuff on my plate. I have the pager this week. So, more reconnecting, unit testing, quickie changes, fixing odd errors cropping up in QA. Lunch-yummy lasagna and blackberries. Solzhenitsyn died. He was way more than an anti-communist. He gave a speech at Harvard, the belly of the beast, indicting Western culture. I agree with him. Materialism, capitalism and legalism created the mess we’re in. I quibble about the freedom of expression argument, but I agree when it’s coupled with materialism. Stratfor did a nice job of summarizing what he means to Russia. The question now is: do we have our own gulag archipelago? Almost time to go.

11:55 am-At work-finished up 2 tests and sent them off. Adding more pics to the album. The weekend roundup: home, shop-fishing stuff, nails, hang out. Sat: hang out more. Erika went to get things. Started on the boys’ bike rack. Clean up, pick blackberries. Dinner, kids to bed, up late. Sun: up for church. To market, home, made a model volcano, fishing with boys, pick blackberries on the trail. Pick them at home. Cleanse the house, Matt got busted for lighting a match without supervision. Dinner, to bed. Up today, didn’t want to. To work.

3:24 pm-Waiting for a table to be loaded so I can test. Reconnecting with a bunch of people. Looking for offhours work. Getting stuff done.

To recap: Weds-a rabbit cake for my birthday, and stroganoff. Bed late, but not too late-start up Careerbuilder and Dice to get offsite/offhours work. Thursday-up, to work, finish up a cr, work on another, lunch, gin up a bitty AJAX thing to show pictures. Home-water, pick blackberries, clean the kitchen, kids to bed. Our neighbor had a mild heart attack. Work on getting work. Up late. Up today, to work-we have the neighbor’s dog while she goes to Seattle. 2 new cr’s, both are coded, need testing. Lunch.

12:10 pm-Quickly-in the middle of a rush job. Not much going on-one cr, another investigation. Yesterday-home, pick blackberries, a bit rainy, kids to bed, dinner, TV, get Careerbuilder started up again-slow computer. Up today, to work.

4:38 pm-Finishing up the hot cr-I had to make a last minute change. So, not much else, late for a 9:30 meeting, work, lunch, meeting plus ice cream for my birthday, more work.

3:55 pm-Waiting for new CR’s to come down the line. Three have gone out today-woo hoo! So, yesterday was, work, finished up a bitty AJAX thing, home, dinner, ball with Colin, kids to bed, Matt is better, Colin woke up, bed, up late this morning, work, quick turn on a cr, send a fax & get locked out, quick lunch, set up to close out the safe deposit box, finally.

11:34 am-Waiting to find out if we need to go through another round on the endless program. To recap: Friday-finished work, moved stuff to new storage, tough drive home. Dinner, blackberries, kids to bed. Sat: up late, hang out, walked to play ball with boys, hung out at the lake, fireworks, home, get music on my phone. Sun: no church, tidy, some yardwork, creek with boys, cut my ear breaking a stick for the boys, dinner, Matt’s having a rough patch, bed. Up today late-easy drive.

I am SO sick and sad about the shootings in TVUUC in Knoxville, TN. Here’s the Google news link. It appears not random-that the guy blamed libruls and faggits for not being able to find a job, getting his food stamps cut, plus his ex-wife went there, etc, etc. Two people died, and a few more are still in the hospital. He was clearly off his rocker-check this out… Will this kind of garbage EVER end???

1:32 pm-More stuff changes on the endless program. This time from QA. <sigh> No matter-still waiting on user feedback from another bug. So, to recap: home, picked blackberries, ball with Colin, sprinkler, kids to bed. TV, dinner, late to bed. Up today, to work, no response, trying to connect with more old friends. Lunch next, then to storage later to move. Woo hoo!

whatever-Waiting on a response from a user to fix a bug that I can’t reproduce. Not much else-had lunch with the family, switched to a new, smaller storage unit. Tuesday: had to make a bunch of changes, phone meeting, picked up speakers for Erika, got a cheap thumb drive, home, repositioned the sprinkler, dinner, kids to bed, up late. Weds: up early for a meeting, finished up the changes, finished up another cr, got one assigned, to storage to switch, to thrift store which was closed, drove out of my way because I missed a turn, picked blackberries, set up a scaffold, dinner, kids to bed, up late. Up today, to work, waiting, some small changes. A bit repetitious, eh? Welcome to my exciting life. Reconnected with a few college and other friends, including a yummy Meegan Ochs.
