Get sucked into Jupiter’s implosion. Land in some kind of waiting room with a lot of others. See strings of police cars go by outside. One stops and grabs me. I fly down the rail between 2 trains. Land in a basketball arena, sitting on the floor with a few other people. One starts using PK and I tell and he goes back. I sit there getting antsy to do it myself, then go to a courtyard and start making the swings swing. Some people marvel at it and I stop. Back to the waiting room.
Walking around a hotel lobby. Stand by the concierge’s desk and wait.

9:10 pm-Sitting computing. My parents just left. They were watching Survivor. Yuck. Last night-home, visit parents, dinner at the Bomber, back home. Up lateish, wake up, parents trying to find a store, here, hang out, get supper going, Denise Allen visited-Mary is sick, dinner, games, clean up.

3:19 pm-Leaving early! Yay. Not much going on-my parents are driving up-kids to bed late last night, us, too. Up today, to work, work on scripting, Guitar Hero, more scripting-good progress. Off until Monday-maybe I’ll pick this up at home… Maybe not.

In a costume shop, looking for something. Look through the shelves, some really tall guy helps me. I crawl down to the register, the girls think I’m cute and give me a pig-like thing with a hole in one end. I think about how to clean it.

On the savannah, getting stalked by a female lion, she’s good, and wants to kill us. We get away. Come back later and see her around the same tree. We circle and she tracks us. We go behind a tree and she comes up, puts up some tape, starts talking in German then English. We talk, embrace, and she tells us that she learned language form her sister on a boat. She was there, fell asleep then came back here. I tried to explain that she was taken captive, had a breakdown and rebuilt her psyche.

5:06 pm-Getting ready to go-pretty quiet after a busy weekend. Home Fri., kids to bed late watching a movie, Sat. paged early, work, tidy, more work, bed. Paged early Sun, no church, work, tidy, Mathias’ teacher meeting, toy shopping, rake leaves, look at gutters, to bed. Up late today, Mathias had a classmate over, to work, work, yummy lasagna for lunch, work, research on code analyzers and cron. Time to go.

4:27 pm-Friday, time to go home. Not much going on-I have the pager this weekend-hopefully nothing will happen. Recap-quiet days-rainy yesterday, cold today. Working on a query, finishing up a program, working on figuring out another one, trying to get started on dUnit and dbms_lock. We’re on a code freeze. School is going fine, holiday coming, teacher meetings. Parents coming next week, need to clean the house this weekend. Working on the first knowledge lecture again. Been doing the lbrp every night for Mathias. He’s in a 9 year old thing, forgot his shoes at school. Colin is bright and sunny. Salem is busy exploring and learning to talk. Not much else-I need to start on the music thing. Once the garage gets cleaned up. I have some ideas, and I want to do some fun stuff too. Writing too. A long post, as I have some time waiting for a checkout. We need a new computer and Erika wants a new bed.

Backstage at a musical-I have to sing a big song, and the director doesn’t have the words. I look all over-no go. I walk out and talk to an agent in an office.
At a church school-they’re having a service, and we’re loading a band into the gym. Walk into the gym and look at the gear.

5:08 pm-Time to go home-long meeting, yummy baklava. Home, hide and seek, kids to bed, pizza, earlyish to bed for me. Need to work. Up today, kids to school, to work, work, quick lunch, 2 meetings, chat. Done. Good unit tests. G’bye.

At some U.S. reunion at a bar. Walk around. Someone is talking about one person being his assistant and another his wife and then switching off. I go around and walk through the other way.

Going across a bridge-have to circle around and pay a toll-the box is broken and has a ton of cash in it-I grab as much as I can and someone sees me and calls me on it. I start arranging the bills and pull out and hide a 100.
At a golf course, getting ready to play-we go around to the clubhouse and they’re doing this club fitting thing. I get in line.

1:04 pm-Back from a birthday lunch-too early for me. Not much going on-working on Doxygen comments. We go into a release freeze tomorrow. Until January. Ugh. OK. So, the past few days: Nice weekend-Matt went to a birthday party and we went downtown and had a nice Greek lunch. Church Sun., raked leaves and cleared the blocked gutter. The usual Mon, Tues was a Martinmas and Lantern Walk at school-rainy, but nice. Weds was the same-it’s been rainy this week. The boys are restless. We’re all fighting some sort of thing. Listening to the usual DN!, but starting to move it closer in, so I can listen to music too. We need to get our cars smogged and registered and driver’s licenses. Erika almost got a ticket for speeding today. Other than that it’s going OK, I guess.
