5:21 pm-Jam this in. Busy working on enlarging icons-slog, slog, slog. Listening to lib radio. 1 day behind. DN! had great speeches by MLK-stirring. And poignant, as he talks about not seeing the promised land the day before he was killed. <sigh> OK. Obama looks good on the podium, but isn’t the tireless freedom fighter that King was. Yesterday-work, home, bed, dinner, workout, a bit of Lassu-I punted on the png stuff. I’m still getting blown up AJAX scripts in IE… Today-up late-to school-Matt only, t’ai chi, quick home to get some things and clean up, to work, lunch, work.

2:06 pm-In a meeting. Whoopee. Recap: Friday-home, hang out. Saturday-clean, wash, Erika went to a church thing. Sunday-no church-Matt is still not well, though he got better by the end of the day. Slept in a bit today, to work, lunch, and here. I’m pretty much done with the Lassu thing-making updates, need to figure out why IE looks so bad-I think it’s all to do with png’s. No matter…
Not much else-been busy with Lassu. Want to work on the essays and music. Listening to the Bardo. Been working out with the 5 Rites most every day. Crazy politics and culture and world-everything is just a mess. The problem is that everyday life for most people is mostly not affected.

Kite thing. Help some people fly revs.
Go to a big box church. Get up on stage, spin around, Grab an envelope and get $400. Sit down, they start singing, I get sick and leave, try to find the cashier’s office. Walk around, find it, this chick starts to give me a hard time and leaves. A few Bible thumpers come and start talking to me.

Walk through school-M comes up to me asking for my keys-I say I gave them to P-she goes to find her. I walk away and drive to an intersection-I remember something, turn around and M is there.
Walking down some green path to a festival, see some lines and we pull them-the person attached to them starts dropping.
Outside of home, watch a car crash, walk over, try to cross the street. Go up to the top of some office, walk back.

In a church, service isn’t set up so I do it, but I don’t know how. I walk in back to get some stuff, the service starts and I sit down. It ends, some youth thing starts, and some great old bass player plays. I walk around, then go back to my spot.
In some building, walk through some linked apartments, someone is giving a party and I take a bottle of wine and go back to my apartment.

3:45 pm-Leaving early-Matt is sick. Weds-dinner, kids to bed, work on website. Yesterday-to school, t’ai chi, put away computers, work, no lunch, home, Matt made soup, upset kid, Matt got sick. Today-up, to school, play, work, back to school for lunch, take Colin home, back here, work. Finished up phase 1 of the AJAX-I get AJAX retrieval, now to get the button code working-basically tell the server which XML item to retrieve-backend is PHP. On to home. Don’t know what the weekend will bring. I’m actually keeping up the 5 rites stuff, plus the stairs here.

5:11 pm-Again, sneak this in before leaving work. Yesterday-home, kids to bed, dinner, work. Today-up lateish, kids to school, mini meeting, work, fingerprinting, work, lunch, work. Is it even worth debating someone on the other side of the ideological fence from you? I have to write the Christmas essay, think about a disaster cap one and the one about responsibility. Finished the Librivox thing. Got in touch with an old girlfriend. Time to go.
I have a website to code-basic stuff is done-need specific items and interactivity-I think it’ll be AJAX driven-I don’t know how I’ll run the back-end though-PHP? Not sure-I just need to serve parts of pages-maybe XML with each of the parts in a cdata-send it and inject that section. Once I get the mechanism down it’s a matter of designing the snips and populating the XML. We’ll see. I also have to write a bunch of full pages.

5:08 pm-Quickly-I have to go shopping. Yesterday-work, home, to bed, worked on things a bit. To school early, t’ai chi, work, lunch with Mathias, work. Need to work on 2nd job stuff tonight. I have 2 blog items percolating about Christmas and disaster capitalism and the elections, maybe. Working out every day with the 5 Tibetan rites.

10:20 am-In a meeting-haven’t done the writing in a bit. Up to date on the lib radio-Randi Rhodes hasn’t saved in awhile. Recap-mostly work, church, school. No $$$, but some dribbles coming in. Went to Colin’s teacher to help with computer problems. Finished up some side work. Burned CD’s. T’ai chi yesterday, mini workout, Erika went to a funeral in Long Beach, picked up the kids. Salem has some allergy-sinus issues when sleeping in our bed. Working on the first knowledge lecture again. We talked about joining the Masons. I’m working through a long Librivox project-Kant. Church thing last Sunday.
