Go into a room, there’s a girl there-we connect, and I spread out a huge heart made of foil. We get under it and start going at it.

At a car wash, go inside the wash, try to avoid the brushes and water and foam. Walk outside, some guy is threatening me-I beat him up.

On a plane landing at L.A.-it’s flying super low and just barely clearing buildings. Finally fly downtown and land. Get out and it’s odd and sandy-Venus?

At a stadium, they’re selling it. We talk about how much it would cost per month. Walk through the office, there’s a big cage with old stuff in it. Talk some more, there’s odd stuff in the cage, like a mini bicycle. Go outside, they’re having a meeting about the sale. Some boy comes running in, with people chasing him. I catch him and wrap up his arms and legs with tricky martial arts holds. They cuff him to me and we go to his room. His friend tries to escape with him, but a handler comes and cuffs us again-plastic this time. He injects him with something, but misses and gets me. He gets him and puts the cuffs on. We talk about music and he likes grunge bands. I recommend Babe the Blue Ox-ask him if he knows the reference. I boast that I saw Oasis in ‘86 in Manchester.

In an office, arranging the furniture to fit more tightly to the wall. A bunch of boards and desks don’t want to stay where they are-keep putting them back.

Just offstage, watching Tony Levin play a bunch of instruments, including some odd drum-like foam thing. There are a bunch of keyboards there, and I want to play drums. The song finishes, and we go over and talk to him.

My back is hurting, and Judy B says she’ll help. I lean against the wall and she pushes on it. We go into the bedroom and she climbs up on top. Some guy comes in and says it’s his place, and I say it’s mine.

At work, a system is packed up to ship to the Caymans. I put a thumb drive in. We’re opening up the pallet and someone is explaining all the systems there. He finds the thumb drive. I start up the server and get it going on the config. I have to restart to get the network registered.

At a kite thing, getting set up. Watch someone’s umbrella blow all around, and think it’s mine, but it isn’t. Walk down to my spot and start arranging things, and think about tying the umbrella down. It starts to rain, and I start gathering up my gear. Walk down to the parking lot-having trouble hanging on to all my stuff.

Driving right behind a motorcycle, I’m staying with it. Go to pass, it goes in front of me. They finally get off, and I continue to the end of the freeway-it’s a dead end and there’s a camp there. I turn around, and the people there are trying to show me stuff and asking for stuff. I start back the other way.

E has just told me that she’s going for a week at the Four Seasons by herself. It costs $2,500. I’m livid, and she says that I told her last year that she could do this once a year. I yell about rent and finances, etc.

On the bus, realize I have to go the other way. Get off, walk across the street and get on the next one.

At a convention, walk through the hall. Someone has cool blank books.

In a dorm that’s empty/abandoned. Move my stuff into a module, try to make it not spill out the front, as a storm is coming and I need to close the door. Walk across the open area in the middle to where the kitchen is, start arranging. Someone comes up and asks me for something.

Walking down the street to a housewarming. Go in, drop off a gift and leave. Pass by a fancy house-the stars of a TV show (Charmed) are living next to each other. Go into the lobby of another house/hotel. Walk through the pool area and upstairs. Go back down another way to meet someone.

At work, someone has an old 8″ floppy and drive. Put it in and start up. The computer is set up oddly-try to get it working. There’s another set of disks that we need to read, but someone stapled them together. I show it to the person needing the data and complain.

Onstage, getting set up. Get stuff arranged, keyboards and the like. Have to move around a bit, and someone comments on who’s in the band. Fill the truck, unpack at home.

Driving across a hill, trying to get out of the rain. A huge wind blows all the clouds away, and I can see a wall of rain on the other side of the valley. Wonder about what’s happening, and whether the rain will come back this way.

Find a flute, try to play it, but it’s missing the end piece. A lot of the keys are missing too.

Walk into a park, there’s a thing going on. We see lots of food, and walk over to grab some. You have to have a ticket, but it’s early, and they’re setting up. We walk around looking at it.

In a backyard, trying to braid up 3 ties. Fripp is there, watches me do the braiding.

In a hallway, have a few CD’s of stuff relating to some misdeeds. Roger C and someone else (Mike M?) are trying to get them from me. I put them down the back of my pants and evade them as they run towards me. I hop into my car to get away, back up, start down the driveway, stop suddenly, and Roger comes really fast right past me and circles around.

At US, they put in a brewery. I talk to the guy running it, and he shows me around. The water is from the lake, but the wall of the pool is crumbling. I walk around, and see a bunch of hops growing inside. The tendrils are everywhere, and I go to move some. We talk about it.

On an island, the Japanese are invading. We start to retreat, and I release a bunch of spiders to the wind.

In someone’s bungalow, listening to music. Go through their record collection, find some Balinese gamelan and put it on.

On the freeway, trying to get home. Turn around to get on the freeway the other way. Switch to a skateboard and go down a hill through rough terrain that used to be a road.
