Pretty quiet Tues., E went to a thing that wasn’t, watched ink masters. Dave Navarro has carved himself out a quite nice post-Jane’s career…Gamelan tonight, and WFH tomorrow-I have to fly kites for a Michaelmas thing at school. And we had visitors at gamelan, so no drumming practice, I want to ramp up the suling too. So kids to school Thurs., dishes\u00a0and a little laundry, worked until 11, waited a half hour for E, hurried through setup-flew the Zero Wind Deca, should’ve flown the Minergy-ran out of gas halfway through the routine. All the ends needed duct tape-I need to get some surgical tubing to fix it. Worked through the rest of the day and evening.<\/p>\n
Fri., tired, easy in, but a fire drill-down the stairs, up the stairs. A co-worker groused about the crappy data coming across the wire. Missed the bus, barely caught another-home, lazy, got pizza for dinner with M, to bed early. Up, laundry, dishes, off to Sat. Market, yummy himalayan lunch, shopping. Church Sun., rainy. Work Mon., I picked up S’s cold and suffered Mon. night. Same Tues., gamelan Weds., not so many people and visitors.<\/p>\n
It’s really Fall now, with the rain and the leaves. And the sickness.<\/p>\n
Not much else. As usual, only a recitation of events. I’m trying to stay away from politics, even though I do read some. Trying to keep it together, and barely doing it. M is having a tough time, and E is going to try acupuncture for her fibro. S is peachy, and C is trying to cope.<\/p>\n
