As I call this, what’s the title? I always leave it as tbd until the end. I’ve been busy, so descriptive I go. No real way to summarize this or talk about anything. Time flies, and I need to read more and start working on things. And as usual the wider world does its thing. Luckily it doesn’t impact me much. Need to vote, but a lot of of the races are incumbent only…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday (4\/11) lunchtime! Got stuff done, made bread, but OneDrive is a PITA. It’s not downloading things. Not much else-gamelan, did all of 2 pieces, worked on my suling, lots of others were trying new stuff, I was back in my usual place. Probably a good thing, that. Onward-thinking about the Crowley interpretation of that reading from Sunday. Chatted with Claire about daydreaming while I drove them to a show. Picked them up afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday (4\/16). In the office, tomorrow too. Up early, didn’t feel well, but came in with Salem. Had Schmizza <\/a>for lunch, Chinese<\/a> for dinner. Pretty quiet weekend, made bagels<\/a>, cut the grass, drive to Keiser to drop off a Stanley mug, work out<\/a> Friday<\/a> and<\/a> Sunday<\/a>-ran outside both days! One PR-almost to the 10 minute mile. Thought more about what to do next-I think I have to come up with a plan. I need to grab my journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday morning. Fair dinner, went to bed early, still woke up tired. It was frosty this morning! Using the stand-up desk a bit. Need to put it back down from time to time. It’s the same one Erika got for me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday noon. I’ve been watching Adam Savage<\/a> videos. Nice gamelan last night. Not a ton of us. Got some fresh eggs<\/a>, maybe goose eggs next week, made an omelette<\/a> bagel sandwich for dinner. Yum. Accidentally put my glasses in the wash…they’re a bit scratched now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday afternoon. Another lovely sunny day. Ate outside. Got a couple of Nest cams<\/a> from our neighbor who’s moving. They’re not unregistered yet, but work fine. Need to figure out where to put them. Need to fix our kitchen drain-it’s leaking bad. Just need to unscrew everything and reputty it, I think. Not much else-have a job I’m trying to run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday afternoon (4\/24). Slammed-one of the apps I work on has a data source that changed date formats without letting us know. So everything they send us is getting rejected. Fun. Working on a fix to go in tomorrow. Pretty busy otherwise, the other job got deployed last night. Fine workouts<\/a> Friday<\/a> and<\/a> Sunday<\/a>, last<\/a> night<\/a>, though I had to do a fast tai chi in running shoes-not quite used to the change in balance and slipperiness. Trying to think what else-driving around, shopping, painting supplies for Salem. Gamelan tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday afternoon. Got the fix in and the spice is flowing again. Got another fix in and what was broken is now working. Registered the Nest cams, set them outside-will put them up this weekend. The gutters were clogged, cleaned them out and snaked the drain in the back. Need to add a screen to the back gutter. No gamelan last night-forgot that there was a concert-drove there, saw the sign, and went to Winco to get food instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday noon. Time for lunch. Salem has had performances this week, and a trip next week. They’re tired. Improvised dinner last night. Robot vacuum was stuck under Salem’s bed last night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday (5\/1). Got one thing done, another almost. Had plumbers out to try to snake out my gutter drain. They found a bunch of roots, but the guy didn’t get it all the way out, so the camera couldn’t go all the way in to find the break. Hopefully they’ll come out again and get it so I can repipe the break. Not much else-Erika and Salem are going to SoCal for a choir trip. Bagged workouts on Sunday and last night. Erika has done a lot to clean up the bedroom. We have opossums and a hummingbird. Not much else-the usual over the weekend, a work disaster yesterday that I caused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday afternoon. Finally put my standing desk thing in. The keyboard is a little high. More to do today. Up late, made bagels, picked up Claire from a show. Worked<\/a> out<\/a> a little late<\/a>, my left calf is really sore-could only get 5 mins run, then rowed. Absolutely couldn’t do the leg curl, but everything else was doable, but not great. Made curry chicken Thursday, skipped gamelan Wednesday, was delivering Erika and Salem to a hotel for their early departure Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday (5\/6), noonish. Trying to get work done. Erika and Salem got home safe last night, had a very busy trip. Got a lot of done over the weekend, Salem’s bed is in, got most of the sink done-the bottom connection leaks-the o-ring is cracked. The plumbing guy came and pulled out the root ball this morning. Made sweet and sour pork<\/a> and took Claire and friends to their club Sat. night, gave them their present-a recorder<\/a>. They were happy and blown away. Worked out<\/a> late-ish<\/a>, my calf is still sore-did elliptical, and didn’t bother with the leg curl. Our room is super clean-everything is in the little nook, running the robovac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, waiting to start the early meeting. Lunchtime. Afternoon. Thursday morning. Noon. Lunch. Time to be done with work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it’s Tuesday noon. (5\/14) Been busy. Got workouts<\/a> in Friday<\/a> and<\/a> Sunday<\/a>. Did lots over the weekend-finished up our sink, put up the Nest cams, put in a new toilet seat, got the a\/c units out of storage, put up Salem’s, breakfast with Erika on Mom’s Day, forgot to call my mom-talked to her yesterday-she’s obsessed with the Trump trial-I so don’t care… No gamelan last week, but this week, and not next week. Erika arranged our trip to SoCal in July, put in all my vacation requests. I think I’ll call this-looks like I’m on a monthly cadence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
