It’s been lovely the past little while, after a wild week. More fun to come? Things are humming along at the same usual cadence-broke for the 2 weeks after mortgage payment, bill pays, overspending. They jacked up our electricity rates. Most everyone is doing fine. We have a show coming up March 9th.<\/a> Always have stuff to do. Not so much caring about the wider world, even though a lot of stuff is happening. Sorry, trying to stay afloat, and getting involved in bigger stuff will just mess me up. Watching X-Files from the beginning-up to Season 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday (1\/10) evening. Listening to my coworkers work-my stuff is done. Busy-got one thing all done, figured out what was wrong with another one, more to come. Nice workout last night-elliptical <\/a>and negs<\/a>, had to wait twice. Not much else, Claire has a cold, Erika is recovering (not so much), Matt and Claire are back to school-Claire’s taking Japanese. Gamelan tonight. Cold and rainy, gonna be icy and maybe snowy this weekend. Matt is driving for work-we’ll see how he does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday noon, watching a political thing. Not much else-prepping for password changes. Waiting for guidance on another thing. Fine gamelan-I’m getting better at making mistakes and just continuing-I barged through on another thing-not sure if I was wrong or not. Kids melted down by the end. I’m still crushing…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday morning in the meeting. Someone changed the way a bit was calculated, and it’s not working right, and there’s a demo. Afternoon-lunchtime-gotta get a thing done first. It’s been lightly snowing off and on since 11 or so. Nothing sticking yet. Claire called out-coughing a lot. Glad they’re home, waiting for Mathias to be done, and Erika and Salem to get home-I’m not going to the gym-just too uncertain whether it’ll freeze before I get done. Back from lunch-Claire has covid. I think I’m done-not much else except password changes left on my plate, and I can’t do that on a Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday (1\/17) morning. Yet again, we are out of ca$h. But thankfully we’re in the middle of an ice storm so we’re not spending money. Weekend was super snowy and cold, so we didn’t get out, except to the store on foot. Glad I have spikes, but I wore the wrong shoes the first time, so my chilblains got way worse. No working out, no nothing. Monday was a holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday (1\/30) morning. Got a production release out last night, and 5 (now 6, now 7, now 9) transactions in this morning and no failures. I was worried, because the messaging framework has many moving parts. I did blow it last week when prepping, but that had a lot less visibility, so glad it happened then. So, weather continued into the weekend, but it was quite warm this last one. Got the tarp up for the spa, I had to fill it after all the rain. And we had some water in the crawlspace, bought a pump and got a lot of it out. The rest just seeped into the ground. Put up Salem’s swing. I need to dig out more for the shed, if anyone will let me have the time, plus also cleaning the dryer vent. Spent yesterday in the ER-Erika had double vision and tachy, and her doc wanted her in. I got work done upstairs, and they did a bunch of stuff, gave her a heart monitor and that was it. Went to a cool witch shop Sunday, Salem’s play Friday and Saturday. Skipped a couple<\/a> of workouts<\/a>, but went Sunday<\/a> for a quickie<\/a>. Got through my reading backlog by speed reading…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday morning. Listening to a co-worker go through the thing from last week. Another quickie<\/a> workout <\/a>last night. Erika’s going to up her therapy frequency. Salem’s on finals week. Evening-time to quit, but I’m in a meeting. We’re doing password changes-got one done, the other is postponed because of technical difficulties that aren’t ours. We’re fixing the bomb from last week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday afternoon in a retro meeting. Had to do an unexpected change. Maybe leaving early. Did get out earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday morning (2\/5). End of sprint, and the stuff I can get done is done. Putting in tasks and a deployment is it. Ok weekend, got the dryer vent done, a few more square feet of digging done before I broke the shovel, pulling blackberries, and vacuuming. Found a cat’s skeleton in the back yard. Bought another shovel for the same price as a replacement handle. Workouts on<\/a> Friday<\/a> and<\/a> Sunday<\/a>. Erika and Salem went to Beaverton on Saturday. Ended work a bit early on Friday. Powered through my reading-finished The Burning Page<\/a> in a day! One book left-ordered the next Invisible Library<\/a> book from the libe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday noon. Trying to get things started. Not feeling very energetic. Afternoon. Had lunch, and a big cookie. Not feeling well after that. Gotta untangle this stuff. Didn’t. Time<\/a> to go to the gym<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday (2\/13) close to noon. Pretty quiet-password changes are slowly getting done, finishing up getting the area prepped for a shed. Saw a ufo last night-was out in the back with Matt, looked up and saw a dim gray crescent shaped thing moving slowly from west to east, completely silent, no lights. Hit my light instead of the camera. Went to the side of the house and didn’t see it. Very odd. Not much else-vacuumed, got my Fire remote working in the living room. Ran around over the weekend-library, binz, kids from point a to point b, a woo festival<\/a> in the Lloyd, worked<\/a> out<\/a> on the usual<\/a> schedule<\/a>. I think the spa has a slow leak in the bubble system. Need to mow the lawn this weekend. We have no $$$, as usual. Need to file taxes to get the kicker-that will help some. Gamelan-we have a show<\/a> in a month-Mindy wants me to start up suling again. I think I’ll call this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
