Well, it only took 2 months to call this. I’m trying and failing to stay afloat. Only broke 3 days and one missed bill this time. Saved by Mathias. Hopefully I can hold on until Spring. Not much else-it’s cold and dark-the usual Fall->Winter. Time keeps passing, don’t really have a lot to say-I might have an app idea. The family is fine-just keep trying to stay on track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday afternoon (9\/18), trying to stay motivated, but everything is done. Maybe I’ll just go and hang out on the front porch… Pretty quiet weekend-regular<\/a> Friday<\/a> and Sunday<\/a> workouts<\/a>. Tried to give blood Friday afternoon, but failed the checkin (Mad Cow was still on the file), Erika tried the sample, couldn’t. Picked up a new outdoor couch for the front porch. Took Erika to OHSU for a sample on Saturday, Next Adventure, binz, the estate sale where we got the couch. Picked up the couch Sunday, cash only-rrrrr. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday noon (9\/21), Trying to start a new task, but have to wait on a prod deploy. No gamelan last night, messed by lower back up working<\/a> out<\/a> on Tuesday, went to the Dr’s to re-up my BP meds. Such an exciting week-doing my laundry, need to take out the trash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it’s now October (10\/4), Wednesday-time is flying. Not much going on, we’re into fall-the leaves are starting to change. Need to pull the AC units, etc. Trying to clean up a bit, keep the living room and kitchen in order. Really need to paint the south wall…and leaves are coming. Skipped a few workouts-Salem needed rides, Erika went to a church thing in Salem, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, finishing up coding a thing (got it done and to UAT), then on to another thing (got that done, but not to uat yet). We’re running out of time. Ok gamelan last night, failed the lancaran bonang bit. Thought I had it, but no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday (10\/11), busy, can’t go to gamelan because Erika is taking the car. I don’t remember what happened last weekend, but it’s rainy and cold. Good workout-started late, so did a 5 minute fast tai chi, which was fun. Busy doing work… I did take a\/c units to storage on Sunday, and much around moving stuff in the bedroom. Trying to keep the kitchen clean-need to work on other house-related stuff. Salem had PreACT testing today. Change of plan-I’m dropping her off and picking them up. Still can’t do gamelan, I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday (10\/16). Busy, working on the same thing as last week. We’re totally out of ca$h this week… Decent weekend-the <\/a>usual <\/a>work<\/a>outs<\/a>, driving around Sat. to look at storage sheds. Mowed the grass and took out more a\/c units Sun. That’s it…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday afternoon-a very messy sprint end\/start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday (11\/6). Haven’t touched this, but it’s not a super long duration. Not much happening-Salem is one of the main puppeteers for Little Shop of Horrors, and we went to the opening last Thursday. They did well. It’s a decent show. Cleaned out the gutters on a too short ladder. I need a bigger one to put in the gutter covers. They switched our trash service to Thursday, and didn’t tell me. Saturday took Salem to Beaverton for a friends’ show after their matinee, hung out at Powell’s and ate at an ok Italian restaurant. I tend to get one of the parmesan dishes to tell how good the cooks are-no veal, didn’t dare the eggplant, got the chicken and it was a hair overcooked. Eggplant has the narrowest range of doneness, chicken the widest. It’s like sweet and sour pork at a Chinese restaurant, and tamales\/chile relleno at a Mexican one. Hard to ruin, but also hard to get right. Have a week off starting Wednesday. Want to clean, put up the gutter covers, maybe get a storage shed. A week ago Sunday was Halloween at church-Erika made me help, and I was wiped out-skipped working out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, taking a week off-it\u2019s weird being out in the middle of the week. Sitting in a Les Schwab because one of the tires has a slow leak. Slept in, meh breakfast at a patisserie in Sellwood. Walked around looking in the antiques mall. Need to get stuff done. Ok workout last night-did a 12\/3\/30-not sore today, so there\u2019s that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, sitting in Schwab’s again. They have to get the tire from another location, so I’m sitting here with the tablet. Good gamelan last night, but I completely blew the start of one piece-guess my brain wasn’t in it… spent the rest of yesterday at the binz and food store.

Thursday night-watching a dumb TV show from 1970, but with Karen Valentine-simply a gorgeous woman. I think Harlan Ellison had something to say about this one. Busy day-new wheel, lunch, home, stuff to storage, shop, make dinner, get Salem, more dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday again (11\/29). We’re broke. I need to read my stack of library books. Nice time off, got stuff done, but got some downtime too. Took Salem to a play in Gresham last Saturday, a thing, they got a ride to school afterwards, picked them up there. Erika rented a truck to bring up a bed for Salem from Salem, got me more Gatorade-I like the cucumber lime ones after working out. Couldn’t work out last night-gym was closed for electrical work-worked out the rest of the days last week. I think I’ll call this. Claire broke up with their girlfriend-some drama, but they got over it pretty quickly. Had Mediterranean food for Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
