Pretty quiet Weds. night-brie & p\u00e2t\u00e9 for dinner, S went to a joint birthday party and just got back sunburned, updated my portrait animation, uploading to storage unit. Need to sit at the keyboard (didn’t happen-picked up C instead). Maybe tomorrow (if I’m not too wiped out). We need to paint S’s classroom this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I only rarely post political stuff (I used to), but this is a pretty cogent analysis: The President as Pimple<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday first thing. Very tired-there was an electrical storm at 3, lasted for a good half-hour. One bolt was very close. I got up on time this morning, but bleh-really tired. Mid-Thurs., I’m dragging. Getting stuff done, but my brain is super foggy. Took an aspirin, had some chocolate-helped a bit, but I have a recurring tension headache too, hence the aspirin. Time to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday morning. Long weekend. Paid bills. Not horrendous, feeling OK, but that could be the coffee talking. I’m choosing to ignore all the bad stuff happening in the wider world. Going to paint the classroom tonight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday noon. Back at work after Labor Day. Pretty mellow weekend-painted the classroom Friday, checked Sat, lazy-shop, took S to friends’, church Sun., pulled tape at school, tidy with M on Mon., S& E went to school for finishing up, no w\/o at all during the weekend. Watched hurricane coverage-big, stalled out right on top of the Bahamas. Looks like it’s heading north now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weds. morning, very tired, on a scrum call. E fell off a chair at school last night while putting up drapes and hit her elbow on a bench. We spent the evening in the ER-nothing broken. Home, clean up, shower, so not in bed until 12:30. Woke up a few times-E realized she hurt her ankle too, and is achy all over. Good w\/o, though, and dinner was yummy too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday, coming up on noon. Finishing up my stuff. E is still messed up from her fall. Pretty quiet otherwise-thinking about life and what the point is. Anyways, time for a “break”…and lunch, and my stuff is done. Dreamed about Stacey Royster…Woke up very cold, rolled over into the comforter and right back to sleep-aaaah, fall is coming. The storm is moving up the Atlantic coast, and the Bahamas got flattened. Went through one of those in the 80’s when I was living in the Cayman Islands-Gilbert<\/a>, so I know from storms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday, morning, listening to live gamelan-Pujangga Laras doing an 1000 day memorial. A sublime Jineman Kandheg. Not much else-signed up for benefits, but I’m not sure it took-need to check. I think I’ll call this-at about a week tempo. Need to practice-just keep having chores and laziness get in the way. Refactored a bit-missed two things and put in batch inserts, a few more changes as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
